A grassroots conference about skepticism, science education and critical thinking.
Join other rational-minded Albertans from the university, local, and extended community for a day-long event about critical thinking, science, and skepticism. Hear presentations and think critically about alternative medicine, psychic abilities, alien abductions and other pseudosciences. Hone your presentation skills by speaking to a friendly skeptical audience and experiencing the work of other presenters.
SkeptiCamp is formed from the BarCamp model, which puts the conference in the hands of the attendees. It’s free to attend, but we ask you help contribute to the success of the conference by presenting a session or volunteering to help organize.
Notes:
Please check back in the next few days for news regarding confirmed topics and speakers, presentation tips and revised scheduling details. Attendance is capped at 150, so please remember to RSVP.
